The Countess of Chester Hospital
The Countess of Chester Hospital | Commercial Procurement Services has announced Teqex Ltd as an approved supplier on the National Framework for the provision of Refurbished Electronic Devices & Repair Services, opening up numerous public sector opportunities for ourselves now that over 50,000 Public Sector organisations can now use Teqex for the above services.
The Countess of Chester Hospitals are working with other public sector departments and aims to provide a market leading commercial solution for refurbished technology products and related services.
The resulting contract will drive value, benefits and savings for the public sector and support customers through digital transformation.
It is designed to drive down costs by allowing public sector bodies to purchase standardised services from approved suppliers, rather than having to sign up for a variety of contracts with differing terms and conditions.
The aim of the proposed framework is to provide a sustainable and cost-effective method to extend the life cycle of mobile electronic devices. By using mobile electronic devices for longer there will be a reduction in the environmental impact from the decrease in the quantity of devices created and disposed of each year.
Teqex Ltd provides a wide range of services on the above framework including:
- laptops,
- desktops,
- screens and other related peripherals.
- mobile phones,
- tablets and related hardware
And finally, the repair of electronic devices, where we will be authorised to carry out diagnoses and repair of mobile electronic devices.
Managing Director Dean Mason said: “We are extremely pleased to be selected on another of the UK Government’s latest public sector framework. We are looking forward to the new opportunities presented via our already strong & growing relationship with the UK Public Sector and to further expand our presence within this vital part of the UK economy.”
