Managing Director
I founded the company back in 2013 when we started as Green Cloud IT, as time went on, we realised a rebrand to align us better to our client's requirements was needed which is when Teqex Ltd was born. Over the years, we have grown in every area, staff members, clients, repeat business, partners, accreditations and much more. We have a 10-year wall in our office, which charts the journey from 2013 to 2023 (not complete yet) and every visitor we have that visits us, mentions this, and you can see it many times on social media. In my spare time, I enjoy watching football, spending time with my two little boys and partner, and making the most of the time we have at weekends, whether that be a visit to the zoo or a weekend away to make the most of it. I also enjoy assisting other companies through tough patches and see myself as a small business advocate, and I’m currently building a podcast that reveals the ugly side of running a business, along with holding 3 charity balls along the way which have raised over £45,000 for several Manchester-based charities, I am now a local board member for Cash for Kids which is run by Hits Radio Manchester.
Finance Director
My name is Katy Pears, I am the Finance Director. I assist and oversee our trainee Accountants. I have been involved with the company from the beginning and joined 6 years ago on a part-time basis. Prior to this, I spent many years working in account management in the banking industry. As well as working I also have two little boys, who I love to spend time with and create special memories with. As a working mum, I don’t get any ‘spare’ time, but I do enjoy having the occasional pamper! Taking a step out of my comfort zone inspires me, taking that leap of faith and doing something new, gives me a great sense of accomplishment and that motivates me to push myself further. I am so passionate about giving our clients the best possible experience, this is something as a company we pride ourselves in because we truly believe we deliver amazing customer service, and we build the best relationships with our clients and suppliers.
Public Sector Sales Director
I head up our public sector sales team and ensure our clients are receiving the best possible service from our Teqex Team. I have been with the company for 3 years and prior to this, have worked in admin over multiple sectors including, charities, events, manufacturing, estate agents, and debt collection. I completed my NVQ level 2&3 in Business Administration straight out of school and currently working on my Operations/Development Manager level 5. On completion, I am looking forward to being registered with the Chartered Management Institute and will be eligible for a Chartered Manager Status through CMI. In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, earning my wings at indoor skydiving, and love going to watch Premier League Champions – Manchester City (Citeh!). Doing something new and charity work inspires me as a person to be more involved, say yes, and put forward new ideas. I feel this contributes to my attitude and how I look after not only our clients and employees here at Teqex but also build great lasting relationships with our suppliers. I have been involved with the last 2 charity balls hosted by Teqex where we raised over £25,000.00 for numerous Manchester-based charities.
Business Sales Executive
Every day, Jodie maintains close relationships with her clients and vendors. Jodie is a new starter here at Teqex and is really happy with her first sales role and the challenges that come with it. Jodie has experience working in the hospitality industry as well as administrative positions in the manufacturing industry. Jodie enjoys spending her free time with her cats, going out with her family and friends, and attending concerts by performing musicians. Jodie finds inspiration in those whom she sees as achieving a brighter future for themselves. Jodie’s work is also motivated by seeing others smile and enjoy themselves. Happy customers inspire me to work harder and provide for them to the best of my abilities. They are the reason I am where I am today. Helping clients as much as I can and offering the finest service I can are two of the ways I add value to Teqex.
Business Support Executive
Rhianne Nolan, Admin Support, purchases orders, assists account managers and answers the phone. Rhianne has been with the company for 6 months. Previously she worked in the hospitality industry spending 10+ years on the reception of a city centre hotel in Manchester. In her spare time, Rhianne enjoys running, hiking, and going to the gym. Rhianne’s favourite quote for life is ‘When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive; to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love’ and likes to spread positivity wherever she goes. Rhianne gets excited by finding the best products for the lowest possible prices to ensure maximum value and happiness for our customers.
Finance Assistant
I am a dedicated young professional currently studying toward an ACCA qualification, my job role consists of predominately invoicing, chasing late payments, pensions, reconciling and payroll administration for the company. As I have a background working on Frameworks for the NHS, I also work on securing new business for the company. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am motivated by my goals to become an accountant!
Admin & Customer Service Executive
Milly Thomas, Business Admin Apprentice, my role is to purchase items for the NHS and find account managers the best pricing. I am currently studying to get my Level 3 in Business Administration, I have previously took on many different roles including; hospitality, retail and domestic. However, this is my first role in Business Administration and I am looking forward to progressing in this career. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with my friends and family and going on different days out. I would say that the people who inspire me most are my friends and family, they inspire me every day to face different challenges that may be ahead, to always be the best person I can be and to also create a sustainable life for myself. I am motivated to provide the best possible prices for our clients, help them with any queries and to provide them with the best customer service.
Social Media & Marketing Executive
As the Social Media & Marketing Executive at Teqex, my journey has been a blend of entrepreneurship and a newfound passion for digital marketing. After running a small business for three years, I stumbled upon the exciting world of social media and discovered my love for all things digital. Now, I am thrilled to be part of the Teqex team, where I have found a fulfilling career that supports my journey into the world of social media and marketing. My role at Teqex involves creating appealing content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. I thrive on collaboration and work closely with our talented team to brainstorm innovative ideas that promote our brand presence. Additionally, I work closely with suppliers and distributors to showcase a range of products effectively by using various marketing materials. This partnership ensures that our content accurately reflects the quality and uniqueness of our company, by following a structured and impressive marketing strategy. Outside of work, you'll find me in the kitchen baking tasty cakes and cupcakes for my friends and family, I am yet to bring my bakes into work. Fun Fact: I've created two wedding cakes for my best friends.
